I often dream of Jerusalem... hills and skies and the stone houses disappearing into the fabric of the landscape.. but mostly I dream of light, you can only find this light in Jerusalem. It seems that, instead of bouncing off the stone it gets absorbed by it, and the whole city becomes city build out of light.... after I came back from my last visit, every time I closed my eyes all I could see is this light, punctuated by the the dark eyes of the widows and doors... The Print— This is a Giclee print of an original watercolor commission These streets and corners of the old city of Jerusalem, with their sunbaked stones and bursts of unexpected color!!! My heart is forever longing to be there. If I close me eyes I can almost smell those ancient stones. Hope it catches your heart the way it catches mine.
